LHC Design

Plymouth, Cornwall & Exeter

Our Plastic Free culture

LHC Design is shaping the Gateways to Plymouth’s National Marine Park and, as part of the project pledge, in collaboration with the project team, took part in a program of environmental initiatives, inspiring their own litter picks.

Establishing an Environmental & Sustainability Working Group, LHC Design reduces early project plastic usage by prioritising durable, low-carbon, and recyclable materials. They actively seek suppliers pioneering eco-friendly practices, advocating for industry-wide change.

They minimise single-use plastics in their workspace through strategic procurement, including zero-waste shops, compostable tea bags, and pen recycling. Studios feature durable, repairable furniture, with unused items donated to surplus rescue CIC.

About our business

With studios in Liskeard, Plymouth, and Exeter, LHC Design is a multidisciplinary design practice specialising in the built environment and committed to shaping spaces for a sustainable future.

Driven by this purpose, their values guide collaborative efforts to enrich lives, support communities, and address the global challenge of climate change.
