Our Plastic Free culture
Brackenhill Glamping have just achieved Gold Award accreditation through Plymouth’s first Green Tourism programme.
The team have been working towards this for a few months, attending training courses, writing Green policies, measuring their carbon footprint and thoroughly reviewing their sustainability practices.
As well as introducing new recycling facilities, they have increased biodiversity with a focus on wildlife, including hedgehog houses and bird boxes.
About our business
Brackenhill Glamping offers family glamping in the beautiful South Devon countryside, just a stone’s throw from beautiful Dartmoor National Park.
The 1.5-acre glamping field lies in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of Ugborough with views across the valley and of the beautiful church known locally as ‘the cathedral of the South Hams’.
The tents have a fully-equipped kitchen with electric hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is a log burner to keep you warm on cool evenings and leather sofas with cosy blankets to relax on. The bathroom is en-suite so no chilly dash to the loo in the night!
Outside there is a covered deck with views across the village. There is a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and a barbecue, too.
